The Certified Product (CP) Quality System is an innovative solution introduced by the Polish Association of Juice Producers (KUPS) in cooperation with experts – representatives of the fruit and vegetable industry and national scientific organisations. The Certificate is given to fruit and vegetable products which comply with strictly specified requirements and have been subjected to an inspection procedure. The Certified Product (CP) Quality System is administered by the Polish Association of Juice Producers (KUPS) (pl. Stowarzyszenie Krajowa Unia Producentów Soków).

VEGETABLES AND FRUIT IN A DAILY DIET
A balanced diet is one of the most important health factors and its main element should be constituted by fruit and vegetables. Those products are the basic food category in the Pyramid of Healthy Nutrition and Physical Activity developed by the Food and Nutrition Institute. Nutrition experts recommend the consumption of minimum 400 g of fruit and vegetables daily, preferably in 5 portions. Around 200 ml of juice can constitute one of those portions. Vitamins and other nutrients, among other substances, contained in fruit and vegetables have a real influence on decreasing the probability of diet-related diseases, such as hypertension, ischemic heart diseases or diabetes.
For many years, the Polish Association of Juice Producers (KUPS) has been conducting educational activities as part of the “5 Portions of Vegetables, Fruit or Juice” programme regarding the role of those products in our daily diet. More information about a beneficial influence of fruit, vegetables and juices on the human body can be found on the programme’s website: www.5porcji.pl
